DCBS implemented extensive trainings on rearing of Black Bengal Goats under Livelihood Entrepreneurship Development Program (LEDP). Total 150 goat farmers donate-3.jpghave been trained in Sundarbans with support of NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development), Govt. of India. After completion of training, all trainees to form Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) and established donate-2.jpga goat farm scientifically. DCBS also promoting farmers producers organizations (FPO) with all goat farmers for collective actions, better management, linkages, mobilization of resources from local agencies and ensuring collective marketing. DCBS facilitated and made linkages with local bankers, livestock development department of state government on necessary support to the goat farmers
