Dhosa Chandaneswar Bratyajana Samity ( in short DCBS) initiated a group of enthusiastic young people through various community based social works at Dhosa, Jaynagar block-I of South 24 Parganas district in the year 2003. These actions were leaded to be united and motivated towards welfare and humanitarian services to the oppressed and needy people in the locality. They all were inspired by numbers of good people towards rendering services on women empowerment through financial services, creation of women entrepreneurs, health, livelihoods and that motivated to form a society called; Dhosa Chandaneswar Bratyajana Samity and got registration on 17th November, 2003 under the SocietyRegistration Act, West Bengal. Since then, by their sincere effort, now DCBS is one of the leading NGO MFI and development organization in the eastern region of India.
