Healthcare
We believe access to basic healthcare is a fundamental right. Through our healthcare initiatives, we aim to promote preventive health, early detection, and access to treatment, especially for underserved and vulnerable communities.
- Eye Care Camps & Cataract Surgeries:
Organising free eye check-up camps in remote areas in collaboration with Rotary South Barasat Eye Hospital. Patients diagnosed with cataracts or other conditions are supported with surgery and follow-up care at no cost. - Cervical Cancer Screening & Treatment:
Conducting cervical cancer detection camps for women, with on-site screenings, counselling, and access to further medical intervention when required, with the help of Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute(CNCI). This program focuses on early detection and awareness in high-risk communities. - General Health Check-up Camps:
Facilitating multi-speciality health camps that provide free consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines, especially for the elderly, women, and children in rural areas, supported by Narayana Health, R N Tagore Hospital, and Peerless Hospital.
Our healthcare programs are people-centric, preventive in focus, and implemented in partnership with medical institutions, government bodies, and local communities.
Through these sustained efforts, DCBS is working towards a healthier, more aware society, where no one is left behind in accessing essential healthcare
