I am pleased to welcome you to the website of Dhosa Chandaneswar Bratyajana Samity, known as DCBS – a development and microfinance institution working in Eastern India since 2003. I believe that financial inclusion should be a universal human right for all and not only for the chosen few. It is on this premise that Innovative Microfinance was founded: with a vision to become the leading Financial Institution which anchors the Micro and Small Scale Enterprises (MSE) owned especially by women, to express their given business talents.

The organization started as a Society  in a small village called Dhosa, Jaynagar in Sundarban, West Bengal and has grown into a valuable market brand on the back around two decades of perseverance. The strong fundamentals inculcated by the founders helped us attract key investors and transformed the institution into a mainstream MFI thereafter. The experienced and stable management team and advisory board helped us adapt relevant technology, innovation and strategies to continue to enhance our customer experience and make trusted institution understanding the pulse of rural economy.

Our people cum customer-centric business model have withstood the test of times. The mission continues to be guided by its philosophy of balancing economic growth with social responsibility to effect lasting and meaningful change in the lives among people living from the bottom of pyramid.

We believe in lean and efficient program operations and this has helped us deliver the right models and financial results and strengthened our ability to deliver long-term benefits to our stakeholders. Looking ahead, we intend to continue to replicate our growth and build on the strength of our brand. Our continuous investment in innovation, new technologies, innovations, new programs and community development programs guided by management team, have helped us maintain high-quality portfolio.

On behalf of my team and our honorable Board Members, I thank all our stakeholders, funders, especially our beneficiary partners who inspire us every day to join hands with them to build stronger and more prosperous communities that can actively participate in India’s vibrant growth story.
