A product discussion (Torch & Fan) demonstration session organized by Piyali Social Enterprise of DCBS Unit on 31.7.2019 at Dhosa Building, South 24 Parganas. Mr. Santosh Kumar Haldar, President of DCBS took the chair in the event. Mr. Indranil Basu, Key Accounts Manager, DELIGHT along with his associates took part in this happenings.Mr. Haldar & Mr. Basu both together inaugurated the event. The participants were mainly senior staff of DCBS. On that day 54 participants joined this event.
Events
25 members of our self help group were deputed to the training centre of Ramakrishna Mission at Nimpith for attending training in making Jam, Jelly and Pickles. The training was highly beneficial for them and they started manufacturing these items by taking loans from DCBS. Our self help group members are also helping them in marketing their products.
As a part of our attachment with “Art of Living” and under the influence of “Sri Sri Ravi Sankar” a Bal Chetana & Naba Chetana Shibir (Workshop for Creation of conciseness) of soul, stress free mind and health for the children. The teachers of art of living talked about the subject and also gave physical demonstration. The Program was so successful that the end of the session the participants appeared to be changed persons.
Art of Living also conducted their class at Raiganj in North Dinajpur District and South 24 PGS. The class was attended by the staff and some other local persons. The presentation was so heartrending that the participants came to burst into tears and was highly impressed.
