Projects Implementation and Monitoring
Implementation refers to a cycle of steps taken to deliver activities, outputs, results and impact while managing finances and for risk. Monitoring is a management tool for improving project and programme performance, both to improve organizational delivery and control for risk. DCBS maintain good governance in project implementation where everyone has clear roles and responsibilities including both primary and secondary stakeholders and an effective financial management.
Monitoring and evaluation are essential components of project management. They are carried out to make sure that the project work is relevant and to learn on programme progress and effectiveness. Regular monitoring enables the project to anticipate risks and identify the necessary changes to be made into project plans as well. Monitoring and evaluation are also needed to be accountable to stakeholders.
